This is the 8S version which comes with a 90mm 12-Blade EDF 8S Power System with a 4075-1350Kv inrunner brushless motor and a thrust reversing 120A ESC.
The Freewing Ares 90mm EDF Jet is a breakthrough in EDF jet design, built for pilots who want to push beyond speed or scale into the world of 3D and post-stall aerobatics. Using a redesigned nozzle structure, thrust loss has been reduced from 35% in the first generation to less than 6% - meaning far more usable power is available for hovering and post-stall maneuvers. Customer Note:Freewing aircraft are factory-configured for dependable performance using the included ESC and BEC system. Always power the model using the flight battery through this system, as connecting a separate receiver pack during setup can result in damage to onboard electronics. For safe setup, remove the propeller (if applicable to your model) and enable throttle cut on your transmitter before handling the model while powered on.

RTF (Ready to fly) – Package includes everything you need to fly with all the electronics installed such as receiver and battery (uncharged). Batteries for transmitter and basic installation of plane parts are required.
